We have one very comfortable guestroom available in this modern, luxury three-bedroom apartment - which is just across the Hudson River from NYC.This guestroom accommodates two people very comfortably on a full-size bed. We can also provide an air mattress if you have a third person. This is a 'shared' apartment and we rent out a total of two guestrooms, so there may be another guest in the other guestroom while you're here. We work diligently though to make sure guests are quiet, respectful and considerate of each other. The apartment and bedrooms are completely furnished with a lot of thoughtful care...
for our guests. You'll have a full-size bed, desk, full-length mirror, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, liquid bath soap, bath towels, hand towels, high-speed wireless internet, a nice set of storage shelves and a large closet. You'll also have full use of the kitchen, dining room and living room.Stay for a week for what it would cost to stay in Manhattan for one night! We're very close to Manhattan. Even though we're in New Jersey, which I know sounds like a world away, you're literally just 10-15 minutes from the heart of Times Square and Midtown. In fact, we're closer to Midtown Manhattan, Times Square, the Theater District, Madison Square Garden, Grand Central Station, the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center than some parts of Manhattan are. like Wall St., or the Upper East Side, and anything above the 70's. We're also closer than most parts of Brooklyn and much closer than any place in the Bronx or Queens.Very easy access to/from Newark, LaGuardia and JFK airports.Brand new building, all new appliances - and everything works (unlike what you'll find in most New York City apartments). 1,700 sq. ft. total (158 square meters). HUGE and very comfortable for the New York area!Includes full laundry room with washer & dryer right in the apartment! If you don't bring your own laundry supplies, for $2 per load you can use ours.Unobstructed views provide great light as this third-floor walk-up apartment 'towers' over the building next door with southern-facing windows and lots of sun!24/7 bus and train service to Manhattan. Typical total travel time 10-15 minutes to the heart of Times Square.ATTENTION TO DETAIL: We've put a lot of thought into making our home comfortable and safe for our guests. From putting nightlights throughout the public areas of the apartment, including the bathroom and hallway, to putting full-length mirrors in both guest bedrooms. When people stay in a new place it can become a little disorienting if they have to get up and walk around in the middle of the night. So we've put subtle nightlights throughout the apartment so guests will always have just enough light to see and find their way around late at night. We've also learned that if you don't have full-length mirrors in the guest rooms, then people will inevitably tie up the bathroom for an hour because they need a mirror. So we've added full-length mirrors to each guest room which has resulted in making the bathroom more available for all our guests. We also provide shampoo/conditioner and bath soap, as well as bath and hand towels. It's that kind of thoughtful attention to detail that we take pride in and makes our guests as comfortable as possible. My wife and I and our several-month old son live in the apartment. We have our own bathroom, so the other bathroom is for the exclusive use of our guests. We're located in a working-class Hispanic neighborhood - so the neighborhood isn't fancy, but it's safe and convenient to New York - which is after all why most of our guests stay with us! And it's the reason you''ll save so much money over staying in a hotel in New York. We're on the third floor of a walk-up building - which means there is no elevator, so yes, there are three flights of stairs to climb. But it's great exercise! We're both very considerate and quiet. You'll hardly know we're here - unless you want to! We love getting to know our guests, but we're also considerate of the fact that not all guests care about that and most don't have time for it.Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as you like. The NeighborhoodLocated in a safe, working-class neighborhood with a South American flavor. There are a lot of great little restaurants in the neighborhood. Good Indian food is nearby. Also tasty Colombian as well as Italian and American are nearby. Also, there is a large 24-hour grocery store a few blocks away. But if you're like most of our guests, you'll be doing most of your eating in the restaurant capital of the world, New York City! The best part about this neighborhood though, and the reason most of our guests stay with us, is its quick and easy access to New York City - minus the sky high New York City prices.
