Over 35 acres of natural forest provide countless hiking opportunities to various other lakes bordering Algonquin Park. We are Eco friendly and support Friends of Algonquin Provincial Park and Wildlands League in the hopes of preserving our Lakes and Forests for future generations.At Cooper Lake Cottage is a completely private seperate wing out from the owners cottage. It is used exclusively for guests, uncluttered, clean and tidy. Upon arrival Ingrid your host will assist you with check in details and interesting information about Algonquin Park and surrounding area. She has many years of experience hiking and canoeing in the Park. From then on, Ingrid is available as much or as little as you require. When away you can reach her cell and there is a self check in option. There is a maintenance person (lake neighbour and friend) available for any issues that may arise. By the nature of what we do we are Eco Friendly Green Tourism: recycle, compost, heat with our own wood, low lighting, no motorboat, no pesticides or chemicals.
