However, we recommend reservations for people in a group of 3 or less, and are happy to accommodate more for an additional fee.Note: if you have more than two adults staying, we only have one bed, but we can provide a queen sized brand new double air mattress, and we have two firm couches for guests to sleep on. We also have a portable crib for anyone bringing a baby or toddler. The NeighborhoodThe lively, thriving Historic Baker/South Broadway (SoBo) neighborhood has plenty to do for everyone! This is a great neighborhood that's popular with Denver locals for its unique charm, walkability and amazing energy. Our house is within blocks of many rooftop bars, sports bars (perfect for watching the game!), restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, antique shops, bowling, library and boutiques. This is a great area to vacation in all year round!Interested in hitting the trails? We can give you directions to our favorite hiking trails in the summer, or the best running trails in the city. Our home is close to a large park with 3 mile running loop, about a 10-minute drive or light rail/train ride from downtown Denver's Convention Center (where the Great American Beer Festival is held) and where our sports stadiums, Coors Field, Invesco, and the Pepsi Center, are located.If you plan to ski, hike or take a day trip, our home is super close to the highway where you'll head out to the mountains. We are a quick 45 minute drive to the foothills - the perfect location for someone coming in from out of town.Our home is very close to the train, or RTD light rail as it's called in Denver. You can walk to the train from our home, and it's a quick 10 minute ride to Downtown Denver, or 15 minutes to the Denver Tech Center.PLUS: in 2016, the train will run directly from our neighborhood to DIA - Denver International Airport!Getting AroundThere is great public transportation near our home, including the light rail train, buses and bike rentals through Denver BCycle.- 10 minutes by train or car to Downtown, Denver Convention Center, Coors Field, or Pepsi Center - 10 minutes to Union Station by train or car - Super close to highways to drive to other areas or to the mountains - 35 minutes to Denver International Airport by car (train will be finished in 2016 connecting DIA to our neighborhood!) - 45 minutes to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains - 90-ish minutes by car to Breckenridge/Keystone - 40 minutes by car to Red Rocks (hiking, sightseeing, Yoga on the Rocks, and concerts) - Coming Soon - ski train from Denver to Winter Park Resort (great family resort with skiing, tubing, sledding, food, hotels, and more.)From our home, walk over to the Alameda RTD light rail station (5-10 minute walk) and take the RTD light rail downtown to the 16th Street Mall stop or Convention Center within 10 minutes!
