The apartment is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Every detail has been tended to and done so in high style. This includes: a lovely sitting area by the front windows, a beautiful bathroom with high-tech features, a fully-equipped kitchen with the latest in appliances, and a lovely bedroom with more-than-adequate closets and shelves. The owners live nearby and are long-time residents of Capitol Hill. They provided written information about the sites in the area and were just a phone call away when we were in need of recommendations. The neighborhood is as special as the apartment. The residence is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the Capitol. We took advantage of them all. And, the Metro is a short walk for easy access to the greater DC area. This will always be our home away from home when we are in DC.
