The apartment has a shared patio and clothes drying area with 4 other apartments' entrances, where you can smoke, and enjoy the excellent views of the Straight of Gibraltar, runway and Spain. Please see our photos!The kitchen is well equipped with oven, ceramic hob, extractor, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. Ample cookware, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided, along with washing up liquid and tea towels. There is a utility cupboard with a superb new Bosch 8.5 Kg washing machine/tumble drier, folding clothes airer. ironing board, steam iron & hair dryer. The lounge has a beautiful large leather settee and widescreen HD TV, offering over 150 British and international channels (including most Sky channels). There is a DVD player, with 36 varied DVD's in the bookcase, free broadband Wi-Fi and an incoming calls only telephone that can make emergency calls. A 3 speed oscillating pedestal fan is placed by the TV unit to cool the settee & dining area. The dining area has an extendable glass dining table and 5 chairs. The apartment is furnished and decorated to high standard throughout and within walking distance of the airport and is very close to The Rock!The beautiful Mediterranean Sea can be seen panoramically from the large opening windows. Main Street and Casemates Main Square is just a 10 minute walk away and popular Eastern Beach is on the doorstep. There is a handy local supermarket directly opposite the road and an Eroski supermarket, featuring Waitrose produce, on the other side of the runway. Please note that beach towels are not provided and it is requested that bath towels are kept in the apartment. There is a bus stop right outside the apartment building and the inexpensive Route 4 local bus service has the longest route in Gibraltar. It goes from 'Both World's' in the far South East, to 'Rosia Bay' in the far South West. The bus stops conveniently at key places, with no fewer that 28 stops on it's way! The Route 8 bus also runs to St. Bernards's Hospital opposite Morrisons supermarket and stops at Market Place Bus Main Terminus near Casemates Square. Unlimited travel day pass is 2.25 per adult, 1.80 per child and 1.20 for the over 60's.We will arrange to meet you outside the apartment building and operate a flexible changeover policy, where normal check-in is 2pm on the first day of occupation and check-out is 10am on the last day. However wherever bookings allow, we aim to check you in as early as possible and check you out as late as possible up to 5pm to suit you.Under 2 years old are free of charge.
