This physically places it in the upper one percentile of all commercial or residential real estate on the island, and provides breathtaking panoramic: Ocean, Mountain, City and Diamond Head Crater Views. materials: concrete ceiling, polished copper piping, stainless steel and ceramic masonry work. Traditional light and dark woods are also incorporated into the motif, integrating natural colors with local flora to retain the true experience of the Hawaiian Islands. A large portion, 10sq m(104 sq ft.)of the living space, is dedicated solely to the lanai (balcony). This is massive by Waikiki standards where open space, particularly at this height, is at a premium and is more commonly nonexistent. It is a cozy open air living area and many of our guests prefer sleeping outside on the hand crafted over-sized twin, teak Balinese day bed(with trundle bed underneath), rather than sleeping inside. What makes this space the crown jewel is it's view. It simply cannot be conveyed in words alone, nor given proper justice through the lens of a camera. Much like the true spirit of ALOHA , it is something that is to be felt, and must be experienced in person.GUEST ACCESSThe ground floor has two lobby areas. The outside lobby has a large guest seating area as well as a cafe with a breakfast and lunchtime menu. There are also vending machines in that lobby area. The foyer just outside the elevators also has seating and is where the security station is located. The 6th floor is the common grounds area, and it has a commercial ice machine and a well stocked convenience store. There are several stainless steel gas operated bbq grills that are available on a first come first serve basis. There is also a meticulously maintained salt water pool with jacuzzi, a fitness center with gym quality equipment and a hot sauna.INTERACTION WITH GUESTSGuests will be met personally and registered with security. They will then be provided with an electronic key FOB necessary to gain access to building and elevators. Updates and suggestions are welcome, as it is my goal to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Please feel free to contact me via email, text or directly by phone any time.GETTING AROUNDWhen one wants to venture outside of Waikiki. Access to transportation is simple, abundant and convenient. Honolulu boasts one of the most efficient public transit systems in the country. The bus stop is just seconds away on the same block. There is also a Enterprise rental car in the same building. I was told they offer short term hourly rentals for as little as 8 dollars an hour. A taxi port is also located just outside the lobby area. Uber and Lift are very active in the area as well. Waiting times are often less than 3 minutes.OTHER THINGS TO NOTEThe grounds and all common areas are recorded and monitored by 24 hour closed circuit surveillance as well as regularly patrolled by security. In Waikiki, a comparable same floor hotel room with less amenities can easily cost twice as much. This makes our home not only unique, but also a one of a kind value. GSA - Per Diem Rate available.
