A historical marker stands at the edge of the property and a small annual remembrance takes place about half a mile away. The area was originally known as Riversville, an antebellum village founded in 1851 by Constant H. Rivers, later renamed Secessionville in 1861. Today, it's a peaceful, tucked-away enclave that feels worlds apart, yet remains close to the restaurants, beaches and conveniences of Charleston. A wide front porch with classic rocking chairs welcomes you inside, where you are immediately met with warmth and character. The first-floor primary suite features a king bed, generous closet space, a dresser and a smart Tv. The spacious ensuite bathroom includes double vanities, a makeup counter, a large tiled shower, a soaking tub and a separate water closet.
